Words resonate a little too deeply, but are buffeted by a throwaway comment that pushes up against it. Somehow the tactic was played wrongly and what was meant to be light after dinner amusement hit much harder than was perhaps intended. Five words pulsing away under the skin, quick to point out the obvious and make comparisons where there are none. Perhaps too suggestible for my own good.
